Hi
Firstly has anyone successfully got SBS 2011 running as a guest OS in Virtualbox 4.04 running on a Windows 7 Pro 64bit host?
I can install it but I can't run the "connect to the internet" wizard which it insists on wanting to run.
I have 2 NIC's in the VM. The first is "Internal" and designed to be used as a private network unto which I can join client vm pc's for testing. The second is a "NAT" NIC which connects through the Windows 7 host to allow internet access.
So far so good, except SBS 2011 insists on itself being the DHCP server on the network and when it finds a DHCP server at the NAT NIC (set somewhere I guess from within Virtualbox itself) it gives me the error:
"An external DHCP server is running on your network at 10.0.3.2. Stop the external DHCP server and then click "Continue" to try again"
Thing is I can't find anywhere in Virtualbox where you can turn off "DHCP" for a NAT connection.
Any ideas on how to resolve it??
Bottom line is I want a private SBS 2011 based network that can access the internet through my VirginMedia router on a second NIC.
The wizard is making it nigh impossible......
Cheers
